If you like to have your own car at your disposal during your holiday, you can rely on more than hundred ferry boats to and from Sardinia that - especially during the summer months - offer frequent ferry connections between the island and the Continent. You can reach Sardinia starting from the major Italian ports.

Here you can find all the necessary information for choosing your favourite ferry terminal

(for departure and arrival).

Port of Olbia

The port of Olbia (port of the “Isola Bianca” – White Island) is the first Italian port as regards passenger services. Olbia is situated at a distance of less than 300 kilometres from the mainland. Modern and fast ferry boats cover this distance in about five and a half hours.

The port is connected to the suburban road network by a tunnel and elevated motorways.

Check In
At the ferry station “Stazione Marittima Isola Bianca”, depending on the shipping company, 15/45 minutes (for passengers only) and 1½-2 hours ( for passengers with cars) before the departure.
From Cala Gonone
Olbia is at a distance of 110 kilometres from Cala Gonone and you have to allow for about 2 hours for this stretch.
